Carol G. Stratton Moving expert Carol G. Stratton began her twenty-two move resume three decades ago with a cross-county relocation and the simultaneous premature birth of her first child. She is experienced in regional moves, local moves, and yo-yo moves – moving back to where one has just left. Along with her husband and four children, she has lived in California, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, South Carolina, and North Carolina. She has lived anywhere from temporary apartments to a new upscale city home.

With a degree from Fresno State University in Recreation Therapy, she has worked as para-professional in the public schools and in retail sales, has served as a recreation supervisor and operated her own custom-designed pillow business. Currently she is a freelance writer and speaker for women‘s groups. Carol G. Stratton has written for the Grand Rapids Press, the Zionsville Times Sentinel, the Herald Weekly newspapers, In Touch, Purpose, Women’s Touch, Forsyth Woman, Forsyth Family, MOPS website, the Christian Communicator, Fandangle, and Your Church magazines. Christy Barritt is the author of several books, including Hazardous Duty. She’s also a frequent speaker and freelance writer whose byline has appeared on hundreds of articles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and psychology from Cincinnati Christian University and now lives with her husband and son in Virginia.

Jane KirkpatrickJane Kirkpatrick is a retired social worker and teacher who has written 16 books, both fiction and non-fiction, about or based on the lives of people in the American West. Her first novel, A Sweetness to the Soul, won the Wrangler Award from the Western Heritage Center. A Tendering in the Storm won the 2007 WILLA Literary Award for Best Original Paperback, and A Flickering Light, a story based on her grandmother’s life as a turn of the century photographer, was named to Library Journal’s Best Books of 2009. Her work has also appeared in more than 50 publications, including DecisionPrivate Pilot and Daily Guideposts. Kirkpatrick now lives in Central Oregon (between Bend and Redmond) after homesteading for 26 years with her husband, Jerry, in a remote part of Oregon known as Starvation Point.

Donn TaylorDonn Taylor is a novelist and poet of varied career. He led an Infantry rifle platoon in the Korean War, served with Army aviation in Vietnam, and worked with air reconnaissance in Europe and Asia. Afterwards, he earned a PhD in Renaissance literature and for eighteen years taught literature at two liberal arts colleges. His poetry has appeared in leading journals and is collected in his book Dust and Diamond: Poems of Earth and Beyond. His fiction includes a light-hearted mystery, Rhapsody in Red, and a suspense novel, The Lazarus File, which has just been re-issued as an e-book.
