As a former History/Government teacher with an Associate’s degree in English, Jeanette enjoys speaking and singing for church and civic groups, offering mirth and worth in every message. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, watching black & white movies, drinking the strongest coffee she can find, and discovering new ways to avoid housework.  Jeanette and her husband, Kevin, are Mom and Dad to two adults, grandparents to three children, and servants to four cats. They live in Paris, Illinois.

With a degree from Fresno State University in Recreation Therapy, she has worked as para-professional in the public schools and in retail sales, has served as a recreation supervisor and operated her own custom-designed pillow business. Currently she is a freelance writer and speaker for women‘s groups. She maintains the website and newsletter, ChangingZipCodes.com. as well as writing a monthly column on moving for Forsyth Family magazine.

Carol G. Stratton has written for the Grand Rapids Press, the Zionsville Times Sentinel, the Herald Weekly newspapers, In Touch, Purpose, Women’s Touch, Forsyth Woman, Forsyth Family, MOPS website, the Christian Communicator, Fandangle, and Your Church magazines. She contributed to the book, Writing So Heaven Will Be Different (Write to Publish Conference) and Refresh by the Spirit, (Guideposts) She won a writing contest for the Paper Cottage sponsored by Smart Women products and has been a guest on Moody Radio’s Midday Connection, In addition she has taught writing at elementary schools, at the Write-On Southern Indiana Writers’ Conference, Glorieta Christian Writers conference and Write to Publish Conference. She currently lives with her husband in North Carolina and has four grown children and two grandchildren.

Elaine and her husband, an ordained minister with the Christian and Missionary Alliance, have led many marriage retreats and counseled numerous hurting couples. They travel annually to Bosnia as a Pastoral Care Couple to missionaries there.

Residing in upstate New York, Elaine and Dan enjoy a beautiful life and ministry together. Three married children and eight grandchildren complete their joy.

Christy Barritt is the author of several books, including Hazardous Duty. She’s also a frequent speaker and freelance writer whose byline has appeared on hundreds of articles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and psychology from Cincinnati Christian University and now lives with her husband and son in Virginia.

She has penned articles for Campus Life, Marriage Partnership, Blueridge Country, The Plain Truth, Guideposts for Teens, Brio, and The Lookout. She’s the author of the Squeaky Clean Mystery Series (Kregel Publications). Hazardous Duty, the first book in the series, took third place in the ACFW Book of the Year contest. The series is about a crime-scene cleaner who also solves crimes. The second book in the series, Suspicious Minds, will hit shelves in May 2008. She also co-authored a non-fiction book, Changed: True Stories of Finding God in Christian Music. The book is currently available in Christian bookstores across the country.
